If anything, I could only think pick sales and visibility of the picks would only increase with people incorrectly associating the picks with high end and much higher profile guitar.

Confusing the public...

Maybe I could order an F-1 pick from one of the big warehouse music stores and receive a guitar by mistake?! ;)

guys, its not the goods ,guitars, picks , cars, whatever, its the SOURCE of the goods that is confusing ,thats the problem , get it? and youre right licensing the name for this use would be cool, so im offering the license for $1.00 for use on that guitar, since i thought i already did.,

Great idea!

To smooth things over between Big Poppa and F-1; AS WELL AS give Big Poppa reason to cozy up to Canadians; I'll pay the dollar to keep the guitar called the F-1. Hell, I even have a dollar on me, if you want me to send it to you.

Everyone on the forums know the guitar as the F-1, and I have no problem spending my hard-earned Canadian funny-money to preserve the integrity and class of everything we forumites work so hard to achieve.

By this suggestion, what I am actually doing is offering a one dollar gag bribe to BP to stop picking on us northerners; and he gets a guitar name out of the deal to sweeten things up. Lemme know, BP!

Hahahahaha. :D

PS. I get called a schhmuck all the time and laugh every time. Great word, should be used more often!

You hold the F-1 with the flat side up, the curved saddle goes on your index finger, thumb covers the logo

I didn't think the new Petrucci guitar was officially called the F1, i thought it was a description used by John Petrucci or BP.

As someone said before, it would be great to have a forum vote or something to give it a name.

JP called it "Lamborghini" in one of his rare posts here. I believe the guitar was nicknamed "F1" by Roburado and another forumite when it was in its prototype stage. The name eventually caught on.
