Jeez....I want Dizzy to enter the import export business and show the world how it's done
From humble beginnings in revolutionizing the guitar business he could make a DVD and sell it all over the world...speaking engagements would follow and then honorary doctorates, cabinet posts......followed by a string of CEO positions with Ford, Xerox, and
Microsoft.

After turning around those companies with his vast knowledge of international business Dizzy retires to a life of public service where he drinks drinks with umbrellas and solves global warming and middle east peace inbetween his morning New York Times crossword puzzle that he does with a tattoo ink gun blindfolded.

Dizz your talent and knowledge of the inner workings are being wasted. Show me how to sell guitars in Australia while providing all the back up service and support at cheaper prices and I'll hire you.

Thanks BP - I'll PM you with the info. :D

What's my job title going to be ? :D

But seriously, you know I've done the numbers and gave examples of the astounding markup when I blew my top over the Sterling guitar prices here.
Aussies are getting gaffed - some take it, and some don't. Not much we can do about it.

Anyways, it's an old argument - I'm just poking a bit of frustrated "fun".

Can we go back to talking about the Golf Ball ? :)

When I saw the Thread Title.......I thought JP actually signed a case full of, "real golf balls"

Would these golf balls go faster than regular one's ??

As for the seller on EvilBay....they are looking for that one person out there who, "must have" this guitar.

**Here is a good quote, "A used guitar is worth what someone is willing to pay for it."**

Haha - hey, I do OK running my own business - money's not the problem.

I just refuse to get shafted - in business and in person : it's all about principle.

And as a bonus I get 2 guitars for the price of one ! ;)

Dizz I get to hijack especially when I get a two for one.....I get to tease you and point out absurdity.

Do the numbers on a JP for me.....

Hehe, fair enough - I started the hijack anyways :D

I'm about to leave for 2 days away on business, so will be offline for a bit.

As an example, I'll do the worst case scenario on a BFR JP, including individual express shipping from US, using US retail prices as the cost price - and I'll still be in front.

Then as a comparison you could let me know the discounted price CMC pay for a BFR JP
- then once I've recovered from falling off my chair I'll get back to you with the revised numbers. :)

And if the numbers and business theory work, I'll hold you to your employment offer ;) :D.

It's interesting to see what happens to that thing. That guitar came to me from Italy and was mine for about two-three weeks. I sold it to this guy for quite a good price already. As far as I can say, he is a professional guitar dealer on E-Bay, always having some EBMMs in stock. This is, of course, way too steep, since it has quite a few nicks and a signature alone does not cost that much (if it's not Jimmy Hendrix etc).

What was great about it, was the original signature, and an insanely beautiful flame neck, which seems to be a specialty with those first hundred. The neck had no nicks or dings whatsoever as well.

Other than that it sounded just like every other standard jp6 (why I sold it so fast again)
