Help! JP making distorting sound on all selections

Son's JP MusicMan, with acoustic selctor, creating distortion on all selections.

He leaned into a wall with guitar inbetween him and wall. Neck slightly crooked.

cannot see where he hit, no scratches, but now sounds distorted on all pickup selections.

Has almost new 9 volt ( although when acoustic selected almost cannot hear through amp, very quite, bought guitar that way used from a guy who had it a year and never played it )

Any thoughts on where to start?

Try spraying a cable jack with De-oxit (or contact cleaner of some sort) and twist it into both jacks.

I'd contact (as stated) Customer Service. If anything can be better than their guitars/basses it's their customer service. They're going to know the ins and outs of that guitar better than anyone and get you back up and running.
