So I bought a JP musicman sometime just over a year ago.

The first time I got it, the piezo system did not work and I sent it in to have this resolved. It was sent back in working condition again and it had played fine for the next year or so.

Over time the piezo input stopped working and I had to resort to using the stereo input. After this, my bridge pickup has become microphonic, or in other words is noisy and creates a lot of feedback with my amp. The neck pickup seems to work fine still. However the piezo input still does not work.

I need to know who i can contact to get it sent back to have it fixed, in hopes that it will still be covered by warranty.

Also, if I have to end up replacing the bridge pickup... would I be able to just put any new bridge pickup in there?

Thanks,

DRW.

Hello and thanks for joining the forum.

I really think if you call customer service (1-800-543-2255) you will find that you will be quite satisfied with the answers they give you. I think they are a great bunch of people and they have always done a "Sterling" job at meeting what requirements I throw at them.

Granted my calls have been few so I don't have a bunch of data points to draw from but I have never hung up the phone without thinking how happy I was that I contacted them.

If you think it will help you can even say that I recommended them.

Again, Thanks for joining the forum.
I hope you can find a lot of useful information here and join in on the fun. Sometimes the CEO of Ernie Ball stops by! He's a hoot!
