Anyone here replaced the pickups in their JP6? I'm looking to do so and I want something more like the pickups in my Axis. Any suggestions would be welcomed. :)

The Tone Zone/Air Norton combo are supposedly most similar to the Axis pups. I have a Tone Zone in a guitar and would say it's quite similar to my Axis. Don't know how'd they'd sound in a JP though, shouldn't be too different, they're both basswod bodies. The Axis does have the maple top though which would be a variable in the tone too.

Oh, Dimarzio makes the pickups I mentioned.

Oh I'm all over the tone Zone...I have on in a JP...SOUNDS HUGE. Yes HUGE. Tried the Zebra pups from the AXis in my MD, not totally satisfied I've been keeping mum on what's up until I get the PRB and MD back in playing shape...you might be surprised...hahaha.

Nah Norton or Air Norton in the neck...if you go to the duncan side of the force....a custom 5 and jazz work nicely too. or a custm custom in lieu of a c5...

the axis bridge pup was too much like a cocked wah in the JP...so out it went...Chrome...think Pimp Caddy with colorshifting paint hehehe....Peemp!

I changed out the ones on my broke JP.....(I have told, she is almost done! :D ),

I use a Dimebucker on the bridge and a SH-58 on the neck. For me, it's great. I use that one for my really heavy metal moments.......
