Hi guys, one of the saddles in my JP BFR's piezo started giving me trouble some days ago... that is, I can't hear any sound for the string on that saddle, unless I push (and keep push) the saddle a bit on one side, and even then it sound like distorted.
Do you know what could that be about, and how I can fix it?
Thanks for any help!!!

Just in case, you could check a couple of things:

- Does your battery still have power left?
- Is your bridge flat? If the strings no longer *touch* the piezo pickups on the saddles, they are muted (extreme case: if you dive bomb while using the piezo, you lose sound).

Sorry if those are obvious questions. ;)

No worries, troubleshooting goes also through obvious questions :)
Alas the bridge is perfectly flat (i.e. the string touches the piezo piece perfectly) and I had also tried replacing the battery, but to no avail :(

Had the exact same problem. Had to get a new saddle and install it. Contact customer service and they will help you out.

i have a similar problem with the D string saddle on my Luke, the little piezo contact actually came off the saddle. now it seems to cut out and also have a much weaker output and is noisy compared to the other strings.
Can i get a replacement and change it out myself ? I'm pretty good with a soldering iron or is it a job for a registered technician ?

If you are good at soldering you can do it yourself no problem. It literally is like a 10 minute job.
