JP Proto neck question

Got some questions about the JP Proto's neck, if anyone has answers they're willing to share at this time. Is it basically the same shape as the current JP? No problem if EBMM isn't prepared to answer at this time.

I heard that along with the Mahogany block in the body of the guitar, it actually helps boost the mids! Magogany is a warm wood, so mids and lows where as maple is more highs...right?

When I have listened to the difference in guitars with Mahogany, whether it is the neck, the Tone Core, or the entire body, there tends to always be more punch to the sound. The Luke model DEFINITELY added more mid range punch, and on the JP proto, I feel it added that plus some extra low end.

So as a genereal rule Mahogany will tend to enhance the mid to low register. However, please understand that this rule will not always apply. EVERYTHING that goes into a guitar matters, and it is the combination of these things that make the instrument's voice.
