JP Prototype?

Video was published in 2007 (right before the JP BFR run) but it was recorded during 2000.

I don't see an arm-scoop, and I think the horns are somewhat pro-longed. The bridge also looks as if it's not a JP custom bridge. Could that be a JP prototype from back in the day?

I'd say it is the black fire proto for sure
 
Great colour/finish, kind of weird that it did not go into production.

The lower horn is slightly different than the 2008 BFR's but other than that, it looks pretty much the same.

PS. ..or ir could be that both horns are like the original JP model; the shadows are somewhat deceptive.

The guitar at 0:47 is the JP BFR prototype, he also used it on the G3 tour. It has the same pickup mounting rings that the 20th Anniversary Silo and the Game Changer have, and also has a bound neck.
The guitar at 10:57 is just a regular JP6.

Really nice touches, both the pickup rings and the bound neck.

The one at 10:57 has the BFR body shape but retains the arm-scoop. I don't think it's a regular JP6.
 
Saw John play that guitar on the very first SFAM show at Celebrity Theater in Phoenix.

At the time I had no idea that he'd left Ibanez and was kind of surprised not to see any Ibanez guitars.

I had the pleasure of being with JP when he unboxed that guitar for the first time, you should have seen how his eyes lit up! I would love to get my hands on one of the prototypes with the forearm contour, the resonance and sound of the 20th Anniversary Silhouette with the comfort of the original JP model is magical.

Hahahahaha, you certainly love this proto eh.. =)

I believe this one is the photo that JP plays at the Score Live performance. It must be an earlier prototype (1st JP signature model), unlike the one seen in the making of Systematic Chaos video.

...and a wishful thinking on my behalf (I would give a hand for one of these, just not mine) =D

The Guitar at 0:47 is a JP6. I can't remember what that color was called, but it is a grey color. It is the same guitar at 10:57.

This one is a one off that Dudley made for JP. There are actually two in existence. It is a JP11. If you search out the rig rundown that those screen shots were taken from I describe the guitar in detail..

I've seen the rig rundown, and the D-tuning songs that JP uses this JPXI a thousand times each just for the eye-candy =D

Yes, and IIRC eventually either that guitar and/or a different prototype around 2006 got the D-sonic/custom air-Norton combination.
