it also feeds my gas....
ooohhhh to take the JPXI or wait....

oh.. wait is hard...

anyway, back to playing :p

I took the JPXI and have no regrets. It's my perfect guitar. My original plan was to get the XI and have funds ready for the Stallion. After I got the XI, it's become a part of my body. :D

but.... what if the stallion is even better?
Walking out of the shop telling myself (the stallion should be out soon! I'll wait!)... oh how hard it was!

i should be saving for the mortage, my wife will kill me if I keep buying stuff! :p

Different doesn't guarantee that it'll be better. Besides, who knows when the Stallion will actually come out? Enjoy the XI in the meantime. Wives threaten to kill but rarely do. She may cut you off from any nookie though. :)

I recommend finding a JP guitar that works for you and never look back. The line is always evolving. Kind of like cars, yearly tweaks to each model. I'm very happy with the JP standard, and I've played them all but a JPX.

Lolz Let us know, we promise not to be upset.
I am gathering money for another guitar due to "tuning" requirements. Let it be the stallion I hope :)

I know it sounds mean ... but honestly, some of the things what were said on earlier Petrucci prototype threads were ridiculous. I don't blame BP one bit for waiting until it's further down the line before showing it.

I completly understand BP on this one, but it sucks that we have to pay for the haters and stupids.

I meant it in a humorous way, I meant no disrespect..

I was half joking....the forum is a great place but scary when you preview stuff....I dont have the ability to show people what an artist wants without input and criticism.... I ask that people just take it in but it never happens.actually in the case of the last few it got so bitter that it did ruin that feature here.

The sense that everybody gets heard leads to the fact that no matter what I say in showing you something it gets really strange....I can count on it and it makes me a little sad....just like still to this day a female cannot post here without a really stupid comment.

That being said I still love you guys but the stallion has to be further along before I show it.

I totally understand your point BP, but can you give us a hint if the Stallion will have a Translucent Finish like the BFR Series or is it going to be an opaque Finish? I already have a JP6 and a PDN2012 JP7 is on it's way. But I'm thinking about getting a JP6 BFR Koa, and knowing if the Stallion will have a Natural Top or not would really help me with that decision.

Wow, it only took like 6 posts before everyone started swarming with questions BP... lol!
Totally understand if you don't want to reveal any more information.

Was kinda hoping it would be further along by now - although great things are worth waiting for and can't be rushed I guess!
