Hi!
I work at sea, so sadly my JP XI gets to be lonely for about 3 weeks at a time before I can play her again. Whenever I leave, I put her in the case, switch the pickup switch to magnetic only, and hope for the best. Lately, the battery has been drained even while not plugged in and set to magnetic. Anyone else had this issue?

Always use a good battery, duracell or something in that range. Cheap batteries are for women´s devices only.
Your output jack could be failing also but I would throw in a new qualitiy battery and always write the date on the battery so you have control over the battery life!

Yes, exactly the same behavior here. Brand new (non-rechargeable) batteries lasted 3 weeks when completely unplugged. Customer service took care of it - had to replace the entire output jack block; it's all one unit with some circuitry inside. It was strange since it wasn't an issue when I first got it, but only began to occur after it came back from other completely unrelated repairs.
