After a bit of soul searching.. I decided to call my dealer and tell him to activate my order (after just teasing him by asking for a quote) for a JP12. HA! He fooled me. "I already ordered it". OMG! He said it would be store stock if I didn't want it. So, BOYS (and girls), this looks to be the coolest color EVER!

I was so bummed when they DC-ed RAD RED, I thought I'de be sad forever. But, WOW, cherry sugah is PURE SEX.

Another great newsitem, my dealer just climbed to #20 on the PDN, so BRING IT!

the most DIFFERENT of all the JP series. FLAT fretboard. TOTAL access to fret 24; like never before. A little heavier then expected. Fast, fast FAST! The color is perfect. Very dark..almost black until it shimmers. The blood red shimmer.

very different from prior JP models. and right now. I am IMPRESSED. the access to fret 24 is like I've never experiences. The way it feels up there, is so "solid" (the fretboard). probably because it is so flat. It took me like a day to get used to it, but now..no going back.
AND my guitar teacher (everyone needs one, even after 35 years) was so blown away by the middle position tones. Best single coil tones to date from a JP.
