Oh come on, Gearzilla - just post. It's OK to not like a guitar. Just think of the PMs you'll save!

Okay, i think you're correct. 300 pm's might be too much work....This is basically the pm I shared.
I still think the JP I received is really awesome, and was one of the best guitars I've seen straight from the factory. I was originally trying to get down to one electric, and thought maybe the JP could do it. I've got a great Strat that's super resonant and decided to keep it. So i gave up on the concept of having only one electric, and decided to pick up an ES 335 to go with the Fender because I wanted something a little fuller to complement it. I'm still interested in a version of the Petrucci line up, but I think for my needs I would probably be better off going with a 7 string version with a rosewood or ebony board-- especially since I'm going to have a couple of classic six strings about.
The JP 15 is a really articulate guitar, and for me the maple neck was a little more percussive than I expected compared to a few of the other JP models I had tried. It's all relative, and think if I had unlimited funds I probably would have kept it around because it is a fine guitar overall. So...that's the lowdown.
