Ok, so I'm going to purchase a new JP15-6, Quilted top.
I'm going to be in the US for only few weeks for a visit and would like to use the opportunity and buy so I can take it back with me.
Now, around NJ, where can I get this model immediately without waiting?
I've noticed that GC is a dealer and there is GC over NJ, but do they have in stock?
Thanks guys.

Right now only Dallas Texas seems to have one in stock. All other stores say Pre Order Now. If you pay now, the NJ store of your choice can ship it in for you from Texas. Call (973) 921-0677. Ask for the manager of the Springfield NJ store, Greg T and tell him Dave Scott sent you. He can take care of the rest. I bought My BFR from them. Great guys over there. Good luck!

Super cool!
I will do that.

BTW, are there any other dealers might have it in stock?
I'm not that familiar with it as I have never purchased a MMEB in the US...

Thanks guys.

I just left the store and told Corey about you. He is the manager in training. He said no problem getting you the guitar and he looks forward to helping you get that awesome guitar. Good luck and post pics when you get it. If you want, let me know when you go and I will try and meet you there.

Both Corey and Greg are from the Springfield New Jersey store. Greg is the manager and Corey is the manager in training. I spoke to Corey directly and gave him your screen name here on the forum. (that is all I had on you). If you call the number to the store, either one can help you. I just happen to see Corey yesterday so I mentioned it because I knew you wanted something specific and you had a certain time frame to get this done. Both guys are managers and can get things done. By the way, I don't work for Guitar Center, I just spend a whole lot of money there. When will you be in NJ?

Visit to NJ is on hold now unfortunately but I guess I will ask my relative over NJ to take care of that purchase for me, he is also a guitar player.
I will drop GC NJ an email and mention the contact with you.
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

Found one JP15 on ebay but there is somthing strange with quilt top and I dont like it.
My time frame for this adventure is up to mid July, as after that I will not be able to bring it back with me.
These JP15 are hard to find.

Yes, I'm familiar with them, already talked with them but this JP15 is the one with the quilt top I didn’t like so much:

If you look @ the official pics over MMEB site you see this type of quilt top which is unique and I like it much better than the other mentioned above, this is the only quilt top type I would like to purchase:
JP15

Also this store above, has a 7 string version which does have this special quilt top but I'm looking for a 6 strings only.

Have to continue serch...

Maybe call Sweetwater and ask when they're expecting more in stock. I would also call Yandas's Music & Pro Audio as well as I've heard good things about them. I believe they're a member of this forum.

Good Luck!

Yea, good luck with that - there is great variation in the tops. It's going to be ridiculously difficult for you to find one resembling what's on the MM website. Especially since few dealers are ordering enough of these to keep them stocked. I had to order mine build-to-order, and it's part of the risk...obviously I would love a top resembling the MM site one, but I'm aware that what I may get may possibly look like the one you don't like much.

Good point MesaBeno. Most of the ones that I have seen in real life are much darker than the marketing picture and video ones.

I sent back the flamed version that I ordered from SW as it was very dark and hard to see the nice tight flame that it had. However, in fairness to SW it was exactly as dark as their guitar gallery picture representation.

I didn't send it back because of the color though, as I assumed it would lighten up over time. The tone wood combination was a little too bright sounding for my personal preference.

Could be the one I ended up with. very dark, but still very nice.
