This is totally on my list to check out. Neck profile and wife are the only things in the way of picking one of these up.

That headstock is seriously beautiful.

But being labelled "JP15"... what would it be the specs? I thought John switched to the Majesty definitely.

Rachmaninoff, I suspect JP and MM will never give up the journey of evolving their instruments. I thought perhaps the Majesty hit the pinnacle but why put a limit on moving forward?

EBMM has answered my prayers. I am buying this for sure. Is it the same neck measurements as the JP13? Does anyone know?

My first guitar this year is going to be the Carvin Vader 8, but if (read: when) I get a second one this year, it's going to be this. I definitely want to wait until the buzz dies down a bit. It was madness trying to get ahold of a Majesty right after NAMM last year... Seems like they're still backordered. I figure this one will be north of $3k so it may not be TOO hard to get (unless they're planning on it not selling as well and in step make fewer of them...). We'll see.

In any case, DAT ROASTED NECK/FRETBOARD!!!!

So, I am pretty much certain that I will be going for an Artisan Majesty when they're available. And then this happened………

Allow me to guess: Did your wife finally discover your collection and now you are in big trouble?

??? Um, no Mister Tollie.

I was going to get an Artisan, but now EBMM announces the JP15 quilt top and jammed up my plans because this is stunning too and now I need to decide.

That is awesome BP! The evolution of the JP series and Majesty line are more exciting than anything I can think to compare to in the industry. I have to laugh when me and other Music Man fan boys try something new and exotic outside the Music Man realm and always come up disappointed. There's just no where to go from the best but down. Can't wait to see you guys!
