Hi all, I've just bought an used Music Man JP15 - Sahara Burst Flame

Wondering if you could help me to a few things regarding cleaning, maintaining this guitar.

  1. Regarding the back of the neck — I’m okay with it; I’ve seen a lot of things about using oil, wax, etc.

  2. Now, based on point 1, am I right to think it has the same finish? So, in case I need to, I should apply the same oil treatment on the maple fingerboard?

  3. About the body — it doesn’t have the high-gloss polyester finish like the Sabre (which I have, for example). It looks like it’s only oiled, I believe it's Satin — not sure, but definitely not high gloss. So, how can I clean this body? Can I use carnauba, for instance? And for regular maintenance, say weekly — what’s the best way to clean it?

  4. What would be the best way to clean the fingerboard when changing strings? Is there any specific product you recommend as it seems to have the same oil/wax process - so in a good way "unfinished"

I have share a few photos here, and I also have one regarding the photos.

If you check the neck one close to the bolt-on neck area, it looks like it lacks of oil/wax, it's very apparent, shall I do the oil/wax here then? I put a red circle there.

Thanks a lot for any tips - so far, really nice guitar BTW
