Help! JP15 stereo output jack issue

Hi, I have a JP15. When I plug the stereo output jack with a mono cable, and choose position 6, i.e. the piezo pickup, there is no sound. There is sound when I choose position 6 when plugging with the mono output. Just wondering if it is normal and why is it like this. Thanks in advance!

That sounds correct. See the "controls" section here:

The mono output blends the two. The stereo output gives you mags/piezo with a TRS cable, or mags only with a TS cable.
