How can get the tremolo bar to stay tight on the JP50? I like the bar to be stiff without dangling around, on the JP6 it has no problem staying that way. This is essential for getting fluttering notes and precise bending with the bar IMO.
The JP50 bar constantly needs tighten with the Allen key, but it gets loose real quick . Any tip or trick you guys can offer will be appreciated.

try some thread lock on the set screw. i never have any issues with my jp50 trem arm. the little set screw may be worn or the threads stripped. I can send a new one.

but if you have any thread lock or a small amount of super glue (a drop) to seal it into position once it's been tightened may help.

Shoot me an email Tung and I'll get you squared away.

Thanks

i have my bar tightened so it stays in place, but can be pushed out of the way easily.

i think you just have to find the sweet spot where its not too tight. The arm does need some tension to keep it in the socket.
