It sounds like it has most likely been exposed to quick changes in climate. Did you bring it in from a really cold day and open it up into a warm room right away or vice a versa? A truss adjustment sounds correct.

Hendog, it could be several things. If you're not sure how to diagnose whether it needs a truss rod tweak, then take it to a local shop for a setup or email the CS folks and then can steer you in the right direction. It's worth learning how to make this call though, so if you take it for a setup ask them for some tips.

Hendog let me know how you make out. I too seem to have the same problem. the action on some of my guitars all of a sudden seems to raise higher. I thought it may be just the damn cold weather we have in the North East.

I have had the same issue with my JP6 BFR and Axis. Not sure if it is this cold Canadian climate that has been wreaking havoc on my instruments or if it is my perception of the action being raised every so slightly. it can never be low enough for my liking! I was sent factory shims by the nice people at EBMM, and will use them on my Axis to lower the action even further. I guess I am just a lazy player that likes virtually no effort to bend my strings, unlike Jack White whom apparently enjoys 'struggling with his guitar' as part of the playing experience:)
