In one of my solos yesterday, I noticed while in the neck pickup position, 2nd string, 10th fret a really sweet overtone on that A note while I held it. Anyone else notice that touch of magic while they are playing? Or maybe it's somewhere else on your guitar. I'd like to know where that note or notes are located on your axe.

Exactly! I remember someone saying something similar a while back, too! In the Presence of Enemies Pt.1's solo has that sort of thing goin' on!

Oh! I forgot to mention that I discovered the 'feedbacker' effect on my GT-8 the other night. It lets ANY note ring into feedback or 'overtones'! Very cool effect.

It's a sweet spot, brought upon by the setup your guitar has. If it were slightly different, like the neck having more relief, or more/less springs, higher or lower action, then that natural harmonic would be gone.

I haven't noticed it on my JP7, but on the 12th fret G on my PRS, it has that. It's a great landing point in any solos, as it sets up nicely to switch back to rhythm, or just let it ring out for that extra factor of awesome :p
