Is the JP6 BFR case identical to all other JP cases in regards to inside height/depth? Reason I'm asking is I just noticed there is definitely more pressure on my trem arm in that case compared to my JPXI. If I peek inside as I close the JP6 case I can see the top of the case putting pressure on the arm (in playing position of course) and pulling up on the bridge.

It's enough added tension that I'm worried about leaving it cased with the trem attached for long periods of time. It looks like its equivalent to about at least full step dive or more when closed. My trem arm seems to fit fine and 'clicks' in place - but it does appear to sit a bit higher off the body than my other JPXI. No looseness vertically in the trem arm that I have noticed.

I know there are a ton of trem question posts, but I've read every one I could find and none seem to confirm or deny if this is even an issue or not.

My JP12 does but it doesn't put much pressure. I've been leaving the bar on for a few months now and I haven't noticed any issues with the trem or tuning stability.
Just to be sure pluck an open string or chord and then close the case, does it sound like it dives more than the JPXI? Seems weird that they would be so different

Not at home right now but I will do the strum then close test to get a better idea of the exact pressure being applied.

Actually, I was just reading some more over lunch break and came across this post which describes a 3rd screw that "determines how far in the bar can go". I was under the assumption that the only adjustments for the trem were the "A" and "B" allens in the bridge pic.

Now I'm wondering if maybe the arm isn't actually fully seated. It definitely grabs on the spring clip though. I wouldn't dare try to press any harder than I already have, so maybe I'll experiment with this last adjustment on the very bottom of the trem.

I FINALLY found time to take a closer look after a few days of work from hell. I did the pluck open string then close test on both, and it seems they are identical after all. There is definitely slight pressure on the trem arms, but sounds to be only about a 1/2 step down until the strings get fully muted. I swear it looks like the JP6 had more pressure, but seems to be an optical illusion.

So, yeah, non-issue :p
