The other day I was rocking out a bit hard with my JP6 and I managed to break the pickup selector. I had the neck selected and one hard strum put it in bridge. Then it froze. I took the back off and unscrewed the switch and it is pretty kinky like a busted knee and when I put it back, I can only select the single coils and the bridge (with great difficulty). Now I know I will have to replace the switch and I have had great dealings with EBMM in the past but I believe I can replace the switch on my own with some soldering. My question is has anyone replaced the switch on their BFR and if so, how difficult is it? Also, where can I get a new switch, I have the broken one.

Bummer dude. If you're handy with a soldering iron, it's pretty easy. The switch has a PCB on it, so you just need to solder the pickup wires to the pads at the edge of the board, not to the switch terminals themselves.

Call/email MM customer service- they'll sell you a replacement.
