Picked up my guitar today and it seems to have developed an issue. If you play the open low E string and let it ring out a humming noise comes from the bridge. The noise is the same pitch and note as the open B string. I don't see anything loose, and this is really annoying.

The guitar is about 1-2 months old, with about 3 hours of playing time on it. Anyone experience this before?

Not yet, i literally posted this up within 3 minutes of discovering...it seems to be coming from the bridge itself. If I put my finger on the bridge and hit the string it doesn't resonate at the B tone.

First what I would do is to make sure that it is all setup: bridge being level with body, intonation, etc. and if it's still doing it then, then you'd know for sure it's nothing to do with that.
If it's all good and setup then I'm not sure what it might be. Is the sound only there when you pick the string?

Are the saddle screws (2 per string) buzzing against the trem/bridge ground plate?? Just check with an allen wrench.

Yea thanks for playing. I love my guitar and wasn't making a negative comment, but rather was looking for help. Congrats on jumping to inane conclusions, you must be proud.

Hey, take it easy. He's the guy that made it possible for you to have that left handed Jp6. This is his home, please don't insult him, it won't help your problem. Just contact CS, they will make everything better.

I actually had a little time today and poked around. Nothing loose, but I did a little back-and-forth with the intonation saddle and it seems to have disappeared. I just hate messing with floating trems, as things can go bad quickly if you aren't a setup pro.

hey I read you response to me. ...I stand by my post....ibanez avatar three minutes you have a problem and break one of the only rules (dont post customer service problems) ....I offered to help you.....what more can I do? You call me names that I take offense to and consider inappropriate. Think about what happened today......Do you really think that you are still welcome?

Please if you do decide to stay here edit your avatar first and then try to post something fun or informative.

No offense man but I think you should edit your previous comment before it escalates further.

Yea, that might be a good idea...

i would check your trem springs. They are known to resonate when certain notes are hit. Just use some cotton under the springs to deaden them.

Act...take it easy. Insults will definitely not get you anywhere. Pops and the entire EBMM crew will help, but, when you throw things out there like that...makes it kinda hard to want to help...know what I mean? Trying to be nice here.
