Help! JP6 nut

Anton- you can't buy the nut on it's own, Music Man does not sell proprietary parts unless they're direct replacements.

Oh, I see, I need it to replace the old one on MM JP6, which is worn (strings greatly deepened). Serial number of the guitar G41254. I'm not the first owner.
Thank you.

Actually - I called customer service and spoke with AJ who sold me a compensated nut for my standard JP6.

They only come in 7 string size so you (or your guitar tech) will have to trim off the low string. Otherwise, string spacing is the same.

Beej - I am not sure if it makes a difference or not, but I did purchase mine new and it is registered with EBMM.

Yeah you have to be replacing one. I would imagine him calling AJ with the serial # will be sufficient, but as said they are 7 string nuts and must be trimmed.

Thank you for your advice and help. I found a dealer, who works with MM, and he agreed to bring the nut to my faraway country. At first i was worried that there is only for 7 strings, but as it turned out it is the only way.
