JP6 On American Idol

Hey, thought it was kinda cool, just wanted to share that I saw one of the guitarists in the band was playing a JP6. That's the first time i've seen one on there. As soon as I saw the outline I knew. Also there was some pretty good promotion goin' on, lol the camera was constantly on the guitar. :D

Ah...you beat me to it. I was just typing a post. They gave him some pretty good air time! Too bad he was playing for that screamy, drama queen Adam Lambert....

Lots of JP6 air time! That guy played it for several songs. I'll be the first to admit that American Idol is a guilty pleasure for me and the wife. I'd love to blame it on "the famly", but my kids both under the age of 4 and are well asleep by the time it comes on :eek:

Don't kick me off the forum !!!! :D

hehe - I'm on the west coast and came to the forum to mention this. Yeah, it got lots of airtime and sounded great. Pete should be shipping my JP6 soon and now the wait is even worse! :)

Yes, this was nice to see. I do not know who the player was but good to see EBMM getting some prime camera time.

Another forum I frequent is saying the guy playing the JP is named Rafael Moreira. Not sure if it's kosher to post links to outside forums here, but apparently he was using Bogners (with the "G" taped off :D ) So I can only assume the tone was heaven. I'd straight up kick a kitten for a Fish preamp, but that's off topic.

The cat woke me up early so here you go. You'll need to get past the interview section with Slash. Unfortunately some of the JP is covered with that lower third but you get the idea.

Frankly, I think his tone sucked. It came nowhere close to highlighting the thick tones that the JP can produce. It sounded thin and fizzy to me...
