just discovered these free-way 6-way switches: Free-Way 6-position Toggle Switch

has anyone tried em?

I could use it to squeeze more single coilish options out of a JP6, and keep the current sweet middle coils thing.

I'd use it with a Duncan P Rails in the neck & a Suhr DSH in the bridge.

what do you think?

Sort of agree- it really depends how well you're able to use it on-the-fly. (I've certainly been guilty of overcomplicating my guitars.)

Other question is whether it'll fix in the cavity for the toggle. If so ... why not? Give it a go.

I've looked at those before, but I've never tried it. I like the idea of the series/parallel options. Ergonomically worse, yes, if you're switching neck-bridge several times in a solo like JP. But it can't be any worse than a Reflex or a Morse that have multiple switches.

Not difficult to use - if you don't need the forward 3 positions you can just ignore them and use it like a traditional 3-way selector where you can go from Neck to Bridge and back as much as you want!
