My JP6 was set-up like a dream from the factory. When my band decided to try half-step down tuning I found myself having to modifiy the factory set-up. My issue became learning the nuances of the JP6 and specifically string feel/resistance (10-46 gauge slinky's).
We eventually went back to 440 and I have been forever since adjusting saddle height/radius, bridge height, spring tension to get back to the feel of the factory set-up.
The set-up instructions on the FAQ for the JP6 are ok but vague in this respect. One thing I have learned is increase in saddle height = reduced string resistance to the touch.
Any other JP6 owners with words of wisdom or saddle height/radius specs from the factory?
