I noticed that my brand new jp6 makes a strange kinda "sitar" buzzy metallic sound when the high b (2nd string) is hit in the open position.
It doesn't in all the other frets, only when hit open or with an harmonic, for example at the 5th fret of the 12th.

I think is coming from the saddle, but I'm not really shure, how can I fix this?

Call customer service. Did you put new strings on?

no, but just some minutes ago I was playing the guitar and that string broke right on the saddle, i changed it and now there is no more sitar effect, LOL :D

But there's another problem,
With that one, I changed all the string to put a whole new set.
I put RPS 09' on (as there were before).

After the whole process and after tuning the guitar, the bridge was HELL LOW, I mean, was quite all the way down like when you do a pull-up.
Why? =!

Same gauge, same tuning, and why the bridge is like that?
i adjusted the bridge at the normal level with the two screw in tha back and tuned the guitar, and now the string are SUPER SLOPPY.
They feel like "wet spaghetti", really really really sloppy, even they are tuned correclty.
Now, I gave a quick look at the neck and it seems straight.

What can I do to rehave my JP back? :(

Ah, and also the string especially the low ones buzz like hell, even on the high frets.

Your gtr probably had 10s not 9s. But even if it did have 9s, did you cut all the strings off at once?? Because if you did you will have to re-adjust the trem screws and springs.

no, 2 string per time.
It didn't seemed to me that they were 10s :hmm:

Agree, I believe they are shipping with .010's niow and if you changed to nines you would get the problems you describe.

They are shipping with 10's, Glenn. Jon was using 9's for awhile, but switched back to 10's.

Neck movement could cause the bridge to dip, as well. We're getting back into warmer weather so the neck might need an adjustment.

Definately give Customer Service a call. They will help you out for sure.:)

Problem solved guys, I compared the new string with the older ones, and yep, they were 10s.

So, now I'm gonna put back rps 10s on (fortunately I have another set lol) and set all nicely.
in anycase, thanks a lot for all the quick help guys :D
