This is probably a newbie question, but I got a JP6 last night and notice that when doing full note bends, the trem pulls up, so if I'm hitting other notes while bending, they're lower pitch.

I have 3 springs in there now and needed to screw the plate screws in farther, so is it logical to think this could be remedied by making the trem a bit more stuff with 4 springs and backing out the plate screws?

This is what floating trems do. We learn to live with it, or learn to micro bend the other note to compensate. 4 springs will make everything stiffer. It might somewhat solve the problem but at the expense of making bending feel stiffer too.

Fair point. And good insight, thanks!

The trem does feel really nice right now, so I'd rather not make it much stiffer. Think I'll leave it be and self adjust.
