Hey there fellow JP users, wondering if this is a common experience with the JP models. mine is the BFR if that is any different than the non BFR models with the volume knob...Im not sure.
I have always noticed that the amount of taper in the volume increase/decrease is always very sharp at some point and there is not a smooth increase/decrease. I engage the knob and at some point the volume drops to virtually nothing and there is yet still play on the knob...is this normal? perhaps specifically designed with a guy like Petrucci who plays through an insanely earth shattering loud rig?
I was at a guitar shop yesterday and compared it side by side to another BFR and it seemed the same...anyone else notice this?
