How do you like it, is it the exact same neck carve ? And do you clean it the same way as fretboard rosewood. I have a standard JP6 , and just "need" another guitar. ha

I have had a JP6 with a rosewood neck and currently own a JPX with a rosewood neck. I'm not a huge fan of them on the normal JPs, but I absoutely love them on the X. IMO it balances the X out nicely and makes it sound super full, plus the attack is just AWESOME on guitars with rosewood necks. That being said...if I was doing more than using my JPs for metal, then I would consider a jp6 with a rosewood neck. It did sound nice for medium and low gain tones, but that's not what I personally like my JPs for.

Thanks , I have the option to get one. The shop I deal with also has a JP16 on order as well.

The jp6 with an all-rosewood neck is my #1 axe.

The profile is exactly the same as the regular make/rosewood neck.

Caring for the rosewood neck is the same as the maple, I find it does not need to be done as frequently though, as rosewood holds the oils better.
