Hi! I'm about to buy an JP6 with a piezo pickup installed. I will definitely change at least the bridge pickup with an seymour duncan jb (since I'm a big sd fan); maybe the neck pickup, too. I will have a pro do the pickup swap.

Now, my question is: will this operation will be difficult/complicated (any propable problems to be expected?) just because of the piezo? Will this be even more difficult if I (the pro I mean) change both pickups?

Thanks.

Duncan colors their wires in a different manner than DiMarzio, so the black/white/green/red pads marked on the JP toggle will wind up having a different color wire soldered to them. No biggie at all. Simply go to duncan.com and dimarzio.com and see how they each label and color the coils for each bucker.
