I wish I would have known about the maple top JP6 before I bought my carbon blue JP6. Oh well, I'd rather see the birds eye instead of an opaque neck.

Dont worry about it my man. You still have a fine guitar. I dont think those original JP6's will stop being made just because of the BFR range. There are plenty of people who like both too much!

P.S. Carbon Blue is a very slick and cool colour!

you make it sound like you bought an inferior guitar, it doesn't matter what EBMM you get, you're always going to want another

The BFR JP models are absolutly beautiful instruments, but the original JP is and will always be my favorite of the two...I mean would love to have a BFR JP and hopefully will soon, but like i said the original is the bomb and it's the reason i have 2 and thinking of buying more.
