Hello guys, I've been doing research and posting around with luck so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try here.

I have an original Music man Jp7 string with the original "custom" dimarzios that I purchased used several months ago. For a while now I haven't noticed a small ringing or rattle in between palm mutes and single notes when picked hard and choked. I think i've covered most of the practical solutions as far as using a fret-wrap to stop any ringing from behind the nut, taping up the tremolo springs as well as stuffing foam all over the cavity, and just recently placed foam under the pickups to stop any rattling. I am pretty much out of ideas at this point, and if anyone has advice or has experienced a similar issue to this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a quick video of the sound.

Sounds like something is vibrating that shouldn't be. Can you make it happen without actually playing, say, strike the pickups or bridge with the side of your thumb?

Get in touch with customer service and let them advise you. That's what they are there for! :)

Maybe try dampening the trem springs under the back cover... sounds like a place to start considering your comments. Otherwise, customer service is the way to go. Good luck

As DrKev says, I would systematically try to figure out where it's coming from. For example, block the trem with a small piece of wood and remove the springs, etc. Tap the pickups, etc.

CS is always your best resource for this kind of thing. But this is unusual, so if you can drill down a little more on where it's coming from, that'll be a big help.

He changed it and he has a low post count so it was automatically moderated. All good now.

The ringing does sound like springs to me, btw.

That is really a weird sound. Did you run the Guitar through an Amp or into a Plugin? If you're running it through a Tube Amp, it might also be, a microphonic Tube and not a problem with the Guitar.
I don't know if those Springs are able to produce such a sound, but maybe the springs, that are sitting behind the Saddles resonate, when you hit the strings. That's hard to test on the JP Style Bridges, but I would at least give it a try.

I am playing my Axe-fx through my studio monitors, so I think everything on that end is okay. (When playing my other guitar, I don't have any problems.)

Yeah that would be kind of tough to test, but I'll have to look into it, because I really don't know what else it could be, and like I said customer service just suggested new springs, which I've taped up and changed out with no luck.

Thanks for the insight guys!

The Cover that's on the Bridge look's, like it is only held by 2 Screws from the Underside of the Trembaseplate.
I didn't try to unscrew it, but I just took my JP7 apart, and looked at the Underside of the Bridge. I would give it a try, it's all solid metal, so I don't think that you could brake something, by unscrewing that part.
