When did this happen? I just saw this on the musicman website. Was this the specs all along???

Can anyone confirm this?

BTW, "stainless steel" on the website is spelt as "stainless steal".

According to the MM site, the BFR, the JPX and the ''normal'' come with SS frets.

I thought it was only the JPXi that had SS frets? Hmmm..... Someone with great knowledge will settle this soon!

So I wonder when this change went into effect or if it actually did. I have one of the very first JPXs built, and I don't believe the frets are stainless. The stainless frets were heavily publicized with the JPXI, so I'd be surprised if they were used when the JPX was announced.

Yes, it seems both the SS frets and the JPXI-style tremolo are carried over to the some of the other models. I am also anxious to get some official confirmation which JP models are affected.

Yeah it looks like it says stainless on all the jp models. I really think it's probably a mistake unless this is revealed at namm. I can't imagine all the jp models having stainless, but it would be very cool. Stainless has become my new preferred fretwire. Seems like a good way to revamp a product thats been on the market for a while. If so here I come BFR JP!!!!

I just went to the music man site and looked at all the JP models. Only the JPXI has stainless steel frets in the description. Seems any mistakes were corrected, or I'm looking on the wrong pages...
