good clips, and GREAT playing! How would you say tone wise, the JPX compares to your BFR? I just graduated college and my parents wanted to get me a gift...I'm debating between a BFR or JPX 7 string...what do ya think?

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I think the JPX is sexier looking than the standards and BFRs. Sounds are very similar - the JPX is punchier.

Lou, have you had much time to check out the Piezo? The JPX seems a bit louder with a slightly thicker tone to me.

I agree with the punchiness. JPX is definitely punchier. The sustain is also improved a bit.

I have not given the piezo a full test thru a PA yet. I'll let ya know
