A few questions on this.

Will the new ones still have the BFR badge or is that going away on all guitars?

Are these things selling? Its a wicked looking guitar but I notice there isn't a lot of hype around them. And even though JP did that cool promotional vid for it, I never saw him playing it?

How does the chambering affect the tone? Can it still get chunky?

I've heard some complaints about the 5 way being in the way in the neck position. Can anyone chime in on that?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike, I had mine for only one week and for me it has the best attributes of all the models; alder, mahogany block, maple top, chambering, ebony fb, ss frets, no BFR 12th marker (I think that with the JP emblem on the first fret plus the BFR emblem on the 12th fret, the FB looks to busy), black hardware, 5 way. To be honest the 5 way location hasn't bothered me. When strumming the guitar unplugged you can actually hear it. I guess it is due to the chambering, it gives a very nice acoustic resonance. On clean settings it sounds particularly good. But it can get really ballsy as well. I like it very much.
