Hi everyone just wondering if anyone has both of these guitars and can describe the difference in feel of the 2 necks ? I have a JPXI that I love and I'm about to pull the trigger on a Majesty Arctic Dream...;)

I happen to have both but the Majesty is a 7 string:

JPXI - 20" radius so it is very flat and can be a bit difficult to adapt during the first days. The finished neck is ok as long as you clean every time you play.
Majesty - 17" radius, very comfortable. The matte finish is faster than the jpxi.

If you care about the looks, the JPXI is much classier (the ebony is different and the JP shield and the BFR on the 12th fret looks really awesome).

Thanks for your reply, You're right The Ebony and BFR Inlay on my JPXI are awesome. You mentioned the Ebony is different, how so ?

Yes, how is the ebony different? I played an Arctic 7 the other day, and I've had a JPX and I didn't notice any stock difference. . .

The ebony on the JPXI is very very black, like deep black, you can barely see the shapes on the wood. The ebony on the Majesty is grey or blackened brown (don't know how to explain it), similar to rosewood but black.

Your best bet is to compare them in person.

Interesting. . . Have to see when my Maj gets here. . . Any ebony I've ever had has never been brown or grey. . . The Maj I played was black as midnight on a moonless night. . .

Yes, I guess it's a polished fretboard. It is shiny and kind of glossy. I prefer the looks on the JPXI but both feel the same.
