I have looked thru the forums for someone else with this problem. I have owned many EB Guitars for years, starting with an EVH model. I recently bought the JPXI model. And it is also the first one I have bought with the Piezo. Are these just a very noisy guitar or do I need to take this to a Guitar Luthier. It's sounds horrible and even touching the strings it still very noisy and believe it is degrading the sound. Any help or even pointing me in the right direction would be great. I don't live near a guitar shop, so a DIY answer would be great. Thanks in advance.

Kinda vague to diagnose over the interwebs. Is it "noisy" using the piezo? Check the ground? Perhaps the piezo settings on the back could be dimed out full. Some causes to check quickly. No, never had this issue with any of mine.

Yes, Sorry for being vague, The guitar/pickups in general. If I touch the Bridge it will quiet the sound by 80%. I just mentioned the Piezo becuz I never had one before. I have tried different cables, different amps, no effects. So I believe it has to be the guitar. I will check the ground, If you tell me where to look. I don't do much to my guitars but change strings and adjust the neck relief.
