jpxi question

just recieved my new jpx1 and i love it but I think there might be something wrong with it not sure because its the first time ever playing with one and did not try one in the store at all. but from switching from the crunchlab to the liquifire i notice a drop in volume. Is this normal or do i need to raise the neck pickup more. I still havent really brought the guitar to get set up. sorry for the long post. one of the best guitars i have every played tho

That's just the way jp likes it. Mine is the same way. I own a jpxi and its the same. On a Jackson of mine I have a liquifire and its a little higher. I personally like the response and character more with the height of the jpxi. If you want the extra gain/output you can put a piece of foam under the pu. Some folks use pen springs on the screws. To each his own. Its your axe. :thumbup:
