I was looking for an affordable upgrade Floyd Rose replacement for my AX4. After some research, I decided on a Takeuchi JT580LP. Before the hate starts, I know these aren't as good as an OFR or Gotoh...just very affordable and what I considered to be an upgrade. I just wanted to post a few pics and say my brother did an excellent job on the swap & set up.

We don't do hate in these parts. Whatever works for you is cool. If you like the result better than what you had before then by all means go for it! Congrats!

Very cool to see that their Low Profile design is a direct drop in!

I am constantly referring people from our website contact forms here who have requests for modification/aftermarket parts. This will be a nice addition. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks very much, it works awesome & I'm very pleased with the results. The JT580LP is very affordable as I said, they can be had on eBay and Reverb for under $50. It's a beast also and stays in tune very well. My brother also installed a tremolo stopper for me while we had the guitar apart.

Thanks very much! That's great to hear, I've been made very welcome here as a newbie. This is by far the most helpful forum site I've read, and the reason I joined. I am glad to be a part of the site!
