God plays guitar;)

I´m happy for you. Nobody should sell his guitars (I know what I´m talking about since I have a shop:)

A second I thought they cut your balls off;)

Late to the party (been traveling for work with limited time on the web) but congrats on winning the contract - that has to be a big load off your mind! And also on the tremendous offer from BP on the 25th!

Last Post from me!! 25th Update!!!

Hi All

Thanks again for your kind wishes, my blood pressure is starting to return to normal (first time in 2 years) - and my children aren't asking who the strange man is who occassionally comes to our house is, My wife is allowed to organise materials for all the jobs I now need to do!! so it's all good.

Even better than that I have a 25th Due to Smelly Towers probably Tuesday -

BP - You're offer was very kind, however Strings and Things had one hidden away which managed to tick all my boxes, - Either that or you had it fed-ex'd to Pete and I was just a little behind (You are that good!)
I've watched the Guitar Center, the Blues Saraceno and Travis videos all night and can't wait!

For all those that made me an offer to buy their guitars, I've not forgotten about you - I've replied to most and I'm waiting till my 25th arrives before doing anything else,

And for the hard core people....Smelly's iconic guitar will be: - 25th Hardtail, rosewood board - (Just like Joe B's!) - And I've gone for flame, which I can't quite figure out - I've been a quilt man all my life, but the flame on my BFR AL changed me forever, and wait till you see the sucky top on this bad boy!

The only downside with my good news is I now have to deliver all that I committed to over the last 24 months, but being busy in these times is no bad thing, and I want to help out as many of you as i can by buying you used balls (loan paperwork sent off yesterday) -

On a side note - DaveB was pretty ill a while back, he's on the mend now, but if you still have your best wishes hats on please send some his way - (AL owners set guitars to position 4!) -

Will post a review of my 25th when it arrives, looks like I'll have a little something to keep me entertained this winter.

Thanks again all - just turned 7am here,

Have a great day

Congrats on the the new guitar but more importantly, the new found job security.

Now spend some time with your wife and kids and forget about work/guitars/forum etc etc

I'm thrilled to hear your good news. Enjoy your new 25th - I'm hoping to get over to Birmingham next weekend to try one. That said, you may have got the last one from S&T!

Very best wishes to you.

Hee hee!

I am more than happy with my balls - they cover everything I need, so a 25th is not on the horizon I'm afraid - now a Big Al bass would be a different kettle of fish!!

Smelly, you're gonna love the 25th so much it'll be tough competition to your BFR AL...one wouldn't think that'll be possible but it's really that great!
Congrats again!

I agree. So much competition that you'd have to swap that AL for my Blue Dawn JP....:D

It' funny how everyone is saying this guitar will change my ball collection, I'm half hoping they're right - in which case I'll buy a 2nd one and everything else is up for sale....

But it would have to be a lot to get bt DD Luke & BFR AL out of my hands,

I tell ya Rob, it's been a weird week - I've gone through every guitar I've ever wanted, (including non-balls)

I'm gonna wait to see the 25th before I buy anything else, my AL's have been my saviour - I took one to the office for the late nights at left the other home - I'm planning a neck swap on them the BFR Neck feels newer (Cause it is!) - and I prefer hard tails- but the top on the BFR is too good to let go!

If the 25th sounds for me like it does in the videos I can see the DD luke going, the sub going and get another 2 AL's (1x Mm90 and 1 BP AL) then I'm done buying guitars.....

Roll on Tuesday....
