For the sake of argument, let's say you could only have 1 Music Man bass to play for ever. Which one do you choose and why? It can be a current bass that you already have, one you used to have or one you would like to have.

For me, it would have to be a Bongo 4 HH Dergie Delight II. I am itching to have this be my next bass and am hoping that my guitars would hurry up and sell on ebay so I can buy it. I have to give credit to BP, when I originally saw the Bongo's, I didn't like the looks of them but he soon thereafter made a post and said "Give it time" or something along those lines and I have to give him credit, he was right. Lately I have been listening to the sounds of different Bongos on you tube and absolutely love the looks of the Dargie.

Well I have a Stingray 5, a Bongo 5HHP and a 25th HSS, I would say if I was forced to give 2 of them up in favour of only one, I would keep the 25th as it truly is a jack of all trades, virtually does all that the other 2 do but with that certain extra class and elite.

But I will be pi$$ed off to give the other two up as I don't like to sell basses unless I can't feed my family.

Tough question .... Got serious GAS for a Bongo (but thats nothing new :p )
But the Stingray,4H has the biggest place in my hart for me, classic sound that you can spot a mile away so either one of the two i have now, dig them both even if they both play and sound different from each other, couldn't really pic from either, just would depend on what mood i was in at the time.

It would have to be a 25th Anniversary / Reflex HSS Quilt! In a perfect world, it would have an SLO neck option, however that may be pushing it .....

If you would have asked this question a few months ago i would have said my 30th Stingray with out a doubt. As i see it today, my single H Bongo has taken the number 1 spot hands down. While i love my 25th i think i am more like BP where i perfer a point and shoot bass. JOSH

My 20th SR5 HH... simply due to sentiment - it is the First EBMM Bass I purchased... but I hope I never have to have "just one" !;)

I do showcases for country artists in nashville and i have found my sr5 HS is all i need.i can blend the pickups for a more even sound or slide up to the single coil for a p bass killer and all the way back for the stingray sizzle. this is my desert island bass.....
