Just a little feedback

After a long wait, that still continues for my bass, and frequent calls to gc where i bought it from, majority of the time they havnt heard anything, i started to think, wouldnt it be great if there was some way that ernieball could contact you to tell you how ur bass is doin. I no they are extremly busy, but it would be nice...
jon u prolly think im an idiot for posting this, especially since i conffused you with the last one, i guess i need to stop but thinking

First, I don't think you're an idiot....Just a pain in the a$$ (JUST KIDDING) I guess it would be nice if the company could give you all updates, but keep in mind that at any time, there are about 3000 instruments on order. We are not a big company and keep VERY busy just trying to keep up with the orders. There simply is no time to do this. That is why when I see posts from folks wanting to know where their guitar is in the production line, I always ask you all to just be patient. Knowing will not get your instrument to you any faster, and if everybody has to drop everything to hunt down your guitar, it could end up taking longer.

Your instrument will get to you when it's done. It will be worth the wait. I promise.

Trust Jon, man. My Bongo took five months to deliver (including shipping to Colombia). I can't be happier now.

Although it's a killer to have to wait, I like the fact that EB is known as a company that don't do rush jobs. That's because jon and the other guys sit around in smoking jackets wearing slippers and puffing on pipes.

Okay that's not true, but guitar making, even when done in a factory environment, is a craft. To me that means: it's not done until it's well done.

I absolutely love that you can get the guitar built with exactly the options you want - really is more like a custom shop guitar then a factory production unit.

I remember checking on my Sterling some 8 weeks or so into the wait and finding that it was in "buffing" and I thought, "Wow, that's MY bass in buffing, not just some bunch of basses from which they'll give me one".
