The Axis hardtail I picked up from GC showed up a day early. I can't believe it!!! The pics from GC did not do this guitar justice at all!!! Nice quilted top, beautiful streaky rosewood, and unbelieveable birdseye. Pics below . . .

Happy to have one of these again. The first I've seen with a trans blue top, and with a rosewood fretboard. I'm keeping this one as long as I possibly can.

Also going to shoot some pics in the sun tomorrow . . . weather and daughter permitting.

Hey Tony, glad she got there and so happy to hear you like her. Slav, I can attest that she plays and sounds amazing... Just like your red one!

 amazing color! The only problem I generally have with GC guitars is that there are usually a lot of scratches in them and possibly dents. You got pretty lucky with that one but you need to get those scratches out! (sorry I'm a perfectionist :D)

That birdseye sure is awesome! I wish I had that on my Petrucci, but I wouldn't give that guitar away for anything in the world!

My only question is.....does it have a matching headstock?

In my excitement, I forgot to get shots of the headstock. It is a matching headstock.

I'm not too concerned about the scratches. It's at least 13 years old, so I knew it was going to have signs of being played/used. I hit it with some scratch remover last night, but need to break out the polishing compound to finish the job.

Most of the worst dings/scratches are on the back. The front looks really good.

Nice Tony, I do like the HT Axis, congrats, and take Spuds advice get some works wonders, or get some Virtuoso Polish and scratch remover from a local GC.
