Those olp's sure look like dead ringers for the Sils. Does anyone have any experience on how they compare to the Sils?

Haven't played the Silo OLP, but I've tried several of their pseudo-Axis ones and for the money they're pretty hard to beat - light weight, excellent playability, actually nice sounding pickups, and well-applied finish. While not a "real" Axis, they've got a great bang for the buck factor much like the real EBMMs, for sure.

In fact, I almost bought one, then my little purple piece of USA-made heaven fell from the sky for about double the price of one of clones...gotta love eBay! :)
