Those olp's sure look like dead ringers for the Sils. Does anyone have any experience on how they compare to the Sils?

Hookpunch - I owned an OLP MM4 for a while - I posted a little review on it that you can read here.

Haven't played the Silo OLP, but I've tried several of their pseudo-Axis ones and for the money they're pretty hard to beat - light weight, excellent playability, actually nice sounding pickups, and well-applied finish. While not a "real" Axis, they've got a great bang for the buck factor much like the real EBMMs, for sure.

In fact, I almost bought one, then my little purple piece of USA-made heaven fell from the sky for about double the price of one of clones...gotta love eBay!
