added a tremol-no and bridge pickup was replaced to bareknuckle warpig
also, a video showing off my dead skills (job gives me no time to practice like i want to)

replaced it with a bareknuckle warpig.

d-sonic didn't have enough clarity and was getting muddy under heavy distortion.
i would love to use active pickups, like petrucci did in that romania concert (dvd-2 pull me under track)
but it's impossible i think to blend with the piezo (due to them being 2 conductors)

Ooof!

I love seeing subtle mods; I've always like the tasteful personalised touch to an axe.

You mentioned the Bareknuckle swap. You happy with the new pickup? Did it achieve the sound change you were looking for?

Reason for asking is I am contemplating either a D-Sonic or Bareknuckle (Holydiver/Painkiller) for the bridge position in my little Sub1 workhorse, later in the year. D-sonic especially as I might have it tuned permanently lower.

Top JP axe though :)
