Okay, boys, this is too much for someone's first thread.

I'm deleting some stuff.

Come on, at least let her get her feet wet first.

Hey my bad,

First, Jessica welcome to the forum and I’m sorry I messed with your first thread, I want you to have fun, and gain information from here, but I had too much fun… for the first thread.:D

Second, Jack I apologize to you too, I’ve got to keep that picture under the cyber space bed, it has had a good run, an award winning run, but time to close the show. I can’t really delete it, it’s my North Carolina drivers license picture… passport too.

As someone that has been “frowned upon” many times, I still get those butterflyies in my stomach when I get it…. Really sorry Jack!

I wouldn't sweat it, Chuck.

Although...I am worried about the NC DL and passport photo association. :D

And now that I'm awake in Europe I'm also sorry for taking it a step too far ...

Jack, thanks for cleaning up my indiscretions,
Jessica .. I promise I won't mess up your thread again ... and a very warm welcome to the ward .. erm .. forum :)
Chuck ... Maybe our particular brand of lunacy is another affliction associated with being a leftie ??

Thanks Dudes....

Many thanks for the DOB and original colour of my Stingray. It is now black.... without a pickguard. I will post a pic over the weekend for all you boys to drool over.... A pic of my bass that is :)

Thanks to all the rest of you for your playful responses so no worries.... I don't scare easily. I actually had a good laugh! This is my first forum so still trying to figure out how these damn things work.

Anyway.... I'm loving the new bass been looking for one on the www for a while now. As you have it.... last Saturday I went to Long & Mcquade to pick up some strings and low and behold there was this very cool black Stingray in the bass department, just calling out my name....

It's sweet as..... I call him "Ray"

Yeah, but as long as it works for you, Jessica, who cares?

Hope you got a deal on the refin!

I'm also extremely happy that 'we' (ahem) didn't frighten you off. This is a nice little treehouse and the guys are slap full of good info.

Glad you're still with us.

I believe I got a good deal on the bass, well as good as a deal as one can get from Long & Mcquade.... I did not refinish it.... it came refinished that is why I was inquiring as to the history of the bass. Who ever owned it previously had it done.... kinda looks cool without the pickguard.... It was obviously well taken care of, it was set up beautifuly all I had to do was plug it in and tune it up.... Gotta love that:)

If you run into any cool deals on a white EB let me know.... may have to find a friend for "Ray" to hang out with.

Cheers,
Jessica

If it's done well, the refin, that's what counts.

Wait, what counts is that you dig it.

We'll have to talk you into a Bongo next - you realize that, I hope.

Huh ! Huh !! Hey, ThanxMan !!!
- last thing I remember it was "Black Friday" and I was head'n2
"Green Flower Street" in my "Bad Sneakers" t'fetch summeds from
"Doctor Wu" when I bumped inta "Ruby Baby" ...
- when I said I'd been talk'n2 "Maxine", who'd toldme "Katy Lied", I got
"The Goodbye Look" ...
- then there was a flash of "Chain Lightening",
- and suddenly I was on the "New Frontier"

Crazy Dudes.....

You guys are pretty crazy... but that's OK most creative people end up that way! On a serious note..... If anyone has a few tips on recording the EB let me know. I have a midi set up.... use my iMac and run Garage Band. Have a midi controller and run the guitar and basses thu the Line 6 Tone Port UX1. If any of you are familiar with Gearbox maybe you have some cool settings you use for the Ernie Ball that you would like to share with me..... then again maybe you're not the sharing type..... I'm into the darker spooky melodic sounds...... I like scaring my neighbours..... what can I say..... Hehehehehehe.... Input is good so are meds! By the way how do I post a pic of my EB? Figured out how to do the avtar and profile pic but that is about it. Cheers Dudes..... Jessica

For Jessica's ax? From a shop in Vancouver? According to the Mighty Dub-yah, Vancouver is in semi-terrorist territory, meaning you are not permitted to ship stuff there anyway.

Did she not say it was "used". :D
