Well I finally got my dream rig. Been wanting this exact setup for over a year and a half. Its a MarkBass Little Mark III 500/350 Watt head. Weighs in at 6 lbs and a MarkBass STD 104 HR Cab. The tone I get out of this rig is indescribable. The beauty of the Little Mark series is they are made to not alter the tone of the instrument, but to compliment it to help bring out the instruments natural tone. Combine that with a MusicMan Sterling and you have some of the punchiest, heart poundingest, face meltingest bass tone you've ever heard. Just got the rig today so havent had a chance to gig with it yet, but im sure ill get to soon and will definitely give an update. seriously cant say enough good things about both the MusicMan Sterling and the MarkBass rig, its a dream team combo! Only thing i want now is a MarkBass STD 151 HR to add to the stack and a MusicMan Stingray Classic 4 string. Thanks Castleton Guitar Center!

and yea, thats my "F yea! look what i got!" look =)

Yup stunning rig I have more or less the same but I got the 4 x 10 in 4 ohms so I get the full 500 w from it. I am going to pick up a 2x10 to use for small gigs too. I have also used 2 mb heads with two 4 ohm 4x10's ! Made the earth shake !

Congrats on the rig bro, play hard !

Congrats! Great set up. I just sold my Mark Bass 410 cab the same as yours to buy the Mark Bass 610 . I needed to push a little more air. But I never had any complaints about the 410. Enjoy it.

thanks guys im still shocked an awed that i have it! it was one of those "went to buy strings" stories. they had the cab there used for like 440 and i was scared to death if i didnt take it home someone else would within a couple days. so they found me a used Little Mark II at a GC in La Mesa. waited for what seemed like the longest week ever (minus the week i waited for my Sterling), and when i got there to pick it up i tested it and it didnt work (shame on the la mesa GC for not testing it before they sent it). but fortunately the salesman and manager at the Castleton GC in Indy took pity on me and gave me a great deal on the Little Mark 3 so i didnt have to run home crying =).

Congrats brother! I really like the "big" Markbass cabs, they pair up really well with their heads... and the basses BP sends out too!

Awesome rig! I hope yours came in quicker to the Indy store than mine did. One of my cabinets was on order for just under a year. :D
