Just caught up with JP in NYC at GC signing

Just got back from the NY DT signing, and JP and I caught up for a few moments. Great to see new young faces getting into their music, it was a great showing. Anyhow, we were talking briefly about his new Music Man, he said it was going to be a monster. I'd gather a possible January release. He is really excited about it, it sounds like it's going to be a separate model, not related to his current sig line. Don't want to put any spoilers out there, but that was e nitty gritty. Can't wait to see this thing at Winter NAMM.

All I know is that he really had a sparkle in his eye about it and is really excited aout it, so I'm sure it's going to be special. I actually started off by just asking 'spool, what's with the Stallion?'. And he just looked at me and said ' how did you hear about that?'. How indeed..... I just wanted to know if a locking trek was involved, but I don't think that will be happening.

I guess you'll just have to wait if you want to see the new one... OR get the JPXI and enjoy it right now Even if the new one will be awesome, and knowing EBMM and John it surely will be very awesome, JPXI won't be any less awesome!

looks like im waiting for now... this always seems like the worst time (fall season) all the new gear starts to get hyped up but no real information, until january (music and technology products). I am excited to hear all the little details as they come.. maybe weekly hints? I know EB won't dissapoint.
